Are You Infatuated With Someone You’re Dating? – Unfiltered Love: Real Talk about Dating and Relationships ❤️

Are You Infatuated With Someone You’re Dating? When confusing signals keep you waiting.

When meeting someone new, things can be confusing in the early stages. You’re not sure where you stand with them or if they’re interested in an honest partnership. If they seem hot and cold or give you a push-pull attitude, this can be emotionally damaging when it goes on for a long time.

You will start to get stuck in a cycle of confusing messages, unanswered questions and empty promises. Some days, they may be very engaged with you and other days, they basically go quiet and disappear. Then suddenly, they are back in your life like nothing happened.

Feelings that are repressed together are very painful. You end up living on hope rather than trusting the progress of the relationship. You hope that things will change, and they just need some time to adjust. You start making excuses for their confusing behavior.

If their words and actions do not agree, they are not invested in a partnership.

Red flags to look out for:

  • The first few days were really great, but things have suddenly slowed down. They do just enough to interest you without taking steps to have a deep emotional connection.
  • They say the right things to stand up for you, but their actions don’t match.
  • There is no consistency when you see them. It’s always on their terms and what works for them.
  • They have more text than face to face communication.
  • It may be 2 weeks before you hear from them, and then they want to see you right away. There’s very little planning ahead, and romantic compatibility is limited.
  • You start to feel like a robbery call.
  • If you start questioning them, they either get too defensive or love you back inside.

Being honest with yourself is important in the early stages of a divorce.

If you expect someone to choose you, you are not being honest with yourself. Protecting your self-respect requires boundaries. People can talkBut when you start a new partnership, you need to have clear intentions. If you wonder if someone is interested in you, then they are not.

Many people fall into a mode of texting rather than meeting in person after the first few days. This is very frustrating, especially if those dates went really well! Beware of this type of person who cheats on you but doesn’t follow through consistently. No one is too busy to plan a future date if they are invested in their time with you. This is a huge red flag that cannot be ignored.

What does it mean to be drawn to someone you’re dating?

This actually happens when someone invests you emotionally without offering any real commitment. They make promises about the future, but rarely follow through. There is very little debate about wanting a relationship, and their interest levels are constantly changing. They only reach out when it suits them. You feel like you are constantly waiting for them to decide where the relationship is going.

This uncertainty of what is happening between you creates emotional stress. You are always included perhaps the zonewhich is emotionally connected. You are investing time in this person while you wait for his decision. You are holding onto your potential with someone instead of accepting the reality of what is happening. This holds you back and delays your chances of finding happiness elsewhere.

It also affects your self-esteem, and you start to question yourself. “Why am I not good enough for this person? Why are they taking a patronizing attitude towards me?” Following a relationship with them becomes a trap. It can cause you to become emotionally invested before the partnership has a solid foundation.

Is this going anywhere? Questions to ask yourself.

  1. How many years has it been going on?
  2. Do you realize that you are not getting the relationship you really want with this person?
  3. Have they taken significant steps to build a relationship with you?
  4. Are you holding on to the potential of a relationship?
  5. Would you be happy to continue this way next year?

What should you do next?

Stop waiting and start moving forward. Don’t be afraid of important questions! When you meet someone new, you need to be transparent. You deserve to know what their intentions are from the beginning. Don’t give them all the control and let them stay in the driver’s seat. You should have a say in what happens between you as a couple.

There is a high emotional price to pay when you live in an abusive relationship. If they are not ready for a committed relationship, it is time to move on. Waiting around for someone to decide if they want a partnership comes at the expense of self-esteem and future happiness. Don’t put your life on the line for someone who asks you where you stand.

When something is progressing in the right direction, many questions remain unanswered; There is a gentle progression, return with love and respect. You are both united in wanting the same things.
